Renovation Island stars Bryan and Sarah Baeumler are returning to HGTV, but this time they won’t be at Cerula del Mar. Instead, the couple will be joining season four of Rock the Block.
Hosted by Ty Pennington, the six-episode season will feature Bryan and Sarah, Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle from Luxe for Less; Jonathan Knight and Kristina Crestin from Farmhouse Fixers, and Page Turner and Mitch Glew from Fix My Flip.
The four teams will compete to renovate identical 5,000-square-foot homes in Colorado. They’ll each have $250,000 and six weeks to complete the project. The team that adds the most value to their property will win the competition and have a street named after them. The winning couple will also have a donation made in their name to Turn Up! Fight for Hunger.
Loren Ruch, head of content for HGTV has this to say about the new season: “Everything about this season of Rock the Block is huge: the homes, the budgets, even the scenery, is massive. And for the first time, the houses are situated in a cul-de-sac, so the teams have a clear view of each other’s homes throughout the competition. The gloves are off and we can’t wait to see how these immensely talented experts bring their astonishing designs to life.”
HGTV has not yet been renewed Renovation Island for a new season. According to HGTV Canada, where the show airs as Isles of Bryan, Bryan is going to be hosting a new series where he “travels off-the-beaten-path to help people who have left their old lives behind to start a unique business in a rural or remote location.” The show is expected to be filmed later in 2023.
Rock the Block premieres on March 6 on HGTV and discovery+. Renovation Island fans can catch up on all episodes from the series on discovery+.
