The 2023 Benton Home Improvement Expo is set for 10 am to 5 pm March 10 and 11 at the Benton Event Center.
“It’s a really cool mix of vendors and services in one show,” said Shaun McFarland, of Biz Buss Events, the show’s organizer.
McFarland said those who attend can find professionals for projects from roofing to gutters to interior projects including bathroom and kitchen remodels. Instead of driving around to compare costs, he said people can compare quotes under one roof.
“It is so convenient,” he said.
Currently, they have closed to 60 vendors scheduled. There are a few remaining spots. Anyone interested in being part of the expo can call 501-847-7100 or email [email protected].
There will be vendors with furniture, pest control services and even a cooking show. For those needing to finance their projects, the Alcoa Community Federal Credit Union will be on hand.
The show, which is in its 10th year, has always done a big giveaway. In the past it has been a lawn mower. This year those who attend can register for free for the chance to win $1,000 Lowes Gift Card. McFarland said that is something everyone can use.
Vendors will also hold giveaways during the expo.
McFarland likes that the show brings in vendors from all over. The taxes from the work that is done stays local.
Admission is $5, but if a person attending mentions it at the door, they can get one admission and a second free. Children get in free.
“If you have any questions about any home improvement project, this is the perfect place to come,” McFarland said.
