Layers of lovely on the table is my favorite thing. Pretty place settings & linens and a beautiful spring centerpiece are perfect for a simple and sweet table by the barn. This centerpiece has a little secret to creating it – sharing more about this idea today.
Spring Table Centerpiece
I think of decorating as layers. Whether that is in a room design, a Christmas Tree design or a table setting. It is the layers that make something come together and create a moment.
For this table- I decided to use a couple of different pieces of this beautiful French Market foliage to create a unique centerpiece. You might remember in this post I shared a wreath around a statue as one idea– and today it is about using the hanging basket and swag for another idea.
Hanging Baskets & Swags
This is such a fun way to use these florals in a different way. Of course, they are beautiful on the door or wall or anywhere you would like to hang them up to add a little spring filled moment – but they also look beautiful on the table.
Using the basket on the table, I tucked the end of the swag into the top of the flowers to create a longer floral arrangement.
You can use the burlap bow as a detail as well- or simply tuck the bow under the foliage if you prefer.
What I love about this idea
I love that I can enjoy this basket and swag in the house or on the front door- and also grab those same elements to create a beautiful table or accent anywhere. Since they are faux, they will last and last which means, they can be enjoyed in various places again and again. I will share a couple more ideas for these two soon.
Fresh Fruit & Nuts
I always love to bring in some fruit or veggies to a table centerpiece and so I shopped in the kitchen for a couple of fresh accents and found some pears and some mixed nuts to add.
Candles and place Setting layers
Of course, candles are always perfect for warmth and ambiance on a table and the place setting layers are another way to add that as well. I used some of my favorite always on repeat elements- lacy plates, gilded goblets and wine stems and pretty little gingham napkins for a bit of whimsy.
